Life’s rich tapestry - Part 1 - the early years
The future is calling you, but what is it saying?
You own a business. How do you go hands dirty to hands clean and maximise value?
Bad things happen to good people and vice versa
The very best people don’t always win and sometimes the very worst people do. Why?
Prosperity Gospel - does Jesus really want you to get rich? Really??
I’m not sure this is what God had in mind.
Passion in the workplace - what do you do?
Why is it so important that we all behave like Easter Island statues at work?
Being a seahorse in business matters
being a seahorse in business is all about resilience, adaptability and thinking differently
Regeneration at zero cost
the big huck out clears everything, including the mind
Stop and think
do you really know how people hear you?
New Year
If nothing else changes, just the number does
So it’s Christmas
Christmas isn’t fun for everybody
Karangahape Rd.
K Rd is the future. Cool, quirky and inviting
Calling small business
there is a lot to be frightened about in business right now but also things that can be done to help
Time for a walk?
nothing calms the mind and brings clarity like taking the dog to the dog park
Better you,
being a better human being makes everything better. Promise
Peace at last
at any time, you can look at what you’re doing and ask “is this for me?”
In the right business?
Success has many forms and looks. It might be recommitting to what you already do, or it could look like a complete change. These are difficult conversations because they cause us to have to dig deeper into our pysche than we normally would.
What’s love
Hanging on to petty and even serious hurts and injuries inflicted by “other people” has the effect of draining your energy, killing your creativity, muting your ability to interact fully and freely with others and messes with your mood, sleep and quality of life. That costs money. Strange to say it but not letting go of shit shows on the bottom line.
Who’s in charge?
Which brings us to the thing that underpins everything I believe about business in all its forms and stages - it is all about the people all the time. the rest is just stuff to do. Important stuff, but stuff none the less.
Transformation. Again.
I guess my point here is that you shouldn’t be afraid of the word transformation. Whether the issue is huge or tiny, transformation is just the process of making the differences that matter.
